Tons of Markdowns at Dollar General (9/2/25)

Hi everyone! We have some exciting Dollar General news! Starting Tuesday September 2nd (holy cow where did the summer go?!) we have tons of NEW markdowns and the sad new is there is no penny list at this time. That is ok, it does happen. Find out all you need to know below so you can track items that you may want to scoop up at a discounted price or study for when they eventually do penny out.

NOTE: When you scroll to the bottom of this post, there is an area that will show you links to our seasonal visuals. Be sure you check those often. They can also be found by clicking on the menu, DG Locker and DG Seasonal Visuals. That is where you will find any visuals we have. I am in the process (sorry it’s slow going) of adding more visuals as the pictures come in.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The following items will markdown but the markdown % is store specific. What this means is that some stores will markdown to 25% off while others will markdown to 50% off. It is very important that for these items below you scan with your DG app to know what percentage they will be for you. Also note some areas do not carry the Camping stuff.
