DG Tuesday April 21st Updates

I have some Dollar General updates for Tuesday, April 21st to share with you! These updates are focused on new markdowns, so it’s a great time to be scanning and checking your stores for deals. 🛒

As always, markdowns can vary by location, so be sure to scan items using your Dollar General app set to your store location for the most accurate pricing.

What is Penny Shopping?
Penny shopping is when certain items that are discontinued or past their clearance cycle drop down to just $0.01. These items are not supposed to be on the sales floor, but if you find them and they ring up for a penny, you can purchase them.

✔️ Always scan items before heading to checkout
✔️ Be respectful; employees are not required to help locate penny items
✔️ If it rings up for a penny, you’re good to buy it!

These markdowns can often lead to future penny items, so it’s always smart to keep an eye on what’s dropping now. 👀
