It’s that time again, friends – we’ve got the upcoming Dollar General penny list and markdowns for Tuesday, September 23rd! 🎉

For anyone who’s new to penny shopping, here’s a quick rundown: penny items are products that Dollar General is clearing out of their system. When these items hit just $0.01, it’s a deal that can’t be beat! But remember, it is the employees job to pull these items from the sales floor, if they miss them we can buy them as long as they are not expired or recalled. Lastly (for those who are new to penny shopping) there are a few rules that we follow in penny shopping. They are:

Never ask employees about penny items – it’s a treasure hunt, and that’s half the fun!
Be kind and respectful – store staff are just doing their jobs.
Don’t make a mess while shopping – leave the store as neat as you found it.

And of course, keep in mind that your miles may vary (YMMV). Not every store will have the same items, so what you find might be different from someone else’s haul.
