Penny items are products Dollar General has marked to remove from the sales floor. Employees are supposed to pull them before they hit 1¢. But if they miss them, we can buy them—and that’s where the fun begins.

📲 Always Scan Before You Buy

Make sure your DG app is set to the exact store location you’re shopping in. Prices can vary from store to store, so what rings up for a penny at one location may not at another. This is what we call YMMV (Your Miles May Vary).

🛒 Why Big Lists Matter

When we get a large penny list like this one, it increases your chances of finding items that slipped through the cracks. Check your stores early, scan everything, and stay patient.
